Parent Transition Workshop – Navigating the Future: College Transition and Beyond: Tuesday, October 8, 2024
Join us from for an important program targeted to parents of Juniors and Seniors (parents of Freshmen and Sophomores are welcome) from 7:00-8:30 PM onsite at Newmark. Presenter Michelle Mongey, MA, LDTC will provide important information and resources on transitioning from high school to college and other post-secondary alternatives. Workshop includes students’ rights under IDEA, accommodations, self-advocacy, the student’s role in the process and finding the right school or program for each individual. Workshop is free but advance registration is required. Parents only, no children please.
