PreACT for NHS Juniors - Mon, Oct 17

For Parents of Newmark High School Juniors - Monday, October 17, 2022, Newmark High School will be administering the PreACT to all Junior students interested in taking the exam.

The PreACT is a multiple-choice test and good practice for the SAT and ACT standardized college admissions tests. Please keep in mind that the PreACT is shorter and does not have an essay section.  The PreACT includes math, critical reading and writing questions, and a science section.  Participating students will test from 8:30 AM to 1:50 PM, with a break for lunch.

The PreACT is essentially a practice test.  After taking it, students should have a good sense of their strengths and weaknesses as they begin to prepare to make decisions regarding college.  However, please keep in mind that the PreACT is optional and not required of all students. We will plan to administer the PreACT to all Juniors, unless we hear otherwise from you.  There is no fee for this test.

Please email Jessica Brozena at jbrozena@newmarkeducation.com  if you have any questions regarding this exam.
