ACT Prep Course - 2026

We are offering the ACT college admissions test for interested Juniors from Monday, April 13 through Friday, April 17, 2026. 

To help students prepare for this test, we are partnering with Pollak Tutors to provide an ACT Prep Course held at Newmark High School.

The ACT Prep Course is specifically designed to prepare students with the skills and strategies needed to succeed on the exam.  The sessions will be held on Tuesday afternoons, from 2:30 PM to 4:30 PM in the NHS Learning Commons. The course will run for eight weeks leading up to the exam.  The schedule is as follows:

 ACT Prep Classes:               February 3, 10, 17, 24; March 3, 17, 24, and 31, 2026

ACT Simulation Test:           March 23-26, 2026 on-site at Newmark High School

ACT Administration:            April 13-14, 2026 on-site at Newmark High School

Payment: The course fee is $1299, payable online through the registration link, and must be submitted by Friday, January 9, 2026.  Please note that Newmark will handle student registration for the ACT on-site at NHS.  ACT Test registration will begin at the end of February 2026.

 

Parent pick-up is required promptly at 4:30 PM after each session.
