3rd Marking Period – Community Connections PIN Program K-8 Ceremony

Today, during lunchtime, we held our third marking period Community Connections PIN Program K-8 Ceremony. We are quite proud of our students who earned PINs today!

HRs 151-154

HENRY H.
Henry has continued to see nothing by net as he has participated in his town’s recreation Basketball Skills and Drills program as well as the played on a team for SOMA Hoops recreation basketball. He has also continued actively participating in Boy Scouts, where he was part of the Boy Scout cooking competition, volunteered as Den Chief for a day and participated in the Boy Scout Winter Weekend.

AIDEN M.
Aiden has shown great commitment to his community by volunteering with the Fulfill Food Bank of Monmouth and Ocean County as part of the Martin Luther King, Jr. Day US National Day of Service. He has also continued to build his piano prowess, which includes admission into the National Piano Guild competing at the international Golden Key Music Festival, where his audition was judged by a panel of international judges and earned him an invitation to perform in the Winner’s Recital at Carnegie Hall

WILLIAM T.
Will has stepped into new roles with acting classes at Acting Out throughout the year, where he has built his acting skills and participated in their holiday performance.

HANK T.
Hank has continued his scouting journey, where he has reached new heights by achieving his Star rank, with now two ranks to go before he reaches Eagle Scout status, and he has earned a badge for Citizenship in the Community.

STEPHEN C.
Stephen has proven himself dedicated to his religious journey with his CCD classes, where he is working toward his First Communion.

ALEXANDER D.
Alex is right on key as he has been taking private singing lessons with Jammin’ Jenn.

MAKSIM E.
Maksim has been gliding along with his ice skating lessons at the Union Sports arena as well as pushing himself beyond the lessons to participate in public skating sessions.

LIAM F.
Liam has reached new heights by challenging himself with rock climbing, where he is working toward joining a rock climbing team.

SELVI L.
Selvi has shown great strength of character by donating to a local food pantry, where she helped identify, package and organize donation items.

JULIANNA L.
Julianna has continued her religious journey as she has dedicated herself to her weekly CCD classes.

OLIVER M.L.
Oliver has continued to show dedication and character by volunteering with Reach Out and Read of Greater New York, where he rang the opening bell at the New York Stock Exchange as part of an event celebrating the organization’s 25th anniversary.

JASON M.
Jason has taken the slopes as he used the skills gained from two years snowboarding lessons to tackle a Blue Diamond trail.

BRAEDAN S.
Braedan is heading for the goal as he participates in a new season of recreation soccer.

DAVID W.
David’s diligence and dedication have been rewarded as he has continued to grow in his taekwondo classes, where he has now achieved his red/black belt.
