NextMark Foundation

 

NextMark Foundation is a nonprofit organization to support Newmark Education and Teacher Training.  The mission of NextMark is to serve as a support organization for children with disabilities, to raise the quality of care for children with disabilities and be an advocate for mental health needs of children.

 

• Newmark Education includes Newmark K-8 and Newmark High School, state-approved, private schools located in Scotch Plains, NJ, serving students ages 5-21 who are strong academically, but live with autism spectrum disorders, mood disorders, anxiety disorders, attention issues and other developmental disabilities.

 

•  Newmark Teacher Training provides school district professionals with extensive training on how students mental health issues manifest in school. Strategies are taught on how to accommodate the needs of behaviorally challenged students in traditional school settings
