Newmark had a very special visitor today. Lieutenant Stef Burt from the Bayonne Police Department made a special trip to hand deliver over 75 Police Patches, which Newmark Community Service students are collecting for Jeremiah, a sick 10-year-old boy in Indiana who has cancer, and also a young boy named Grayson from Stewartsville, NJ. Mrs. O is very thankful to the many Police Departments, Newmark families and staff working so hard to obtain these patches, "I'm proud to say that we have collected 295 in total! We will certainly brighten up the lives of these two fighters!"
Newmark Community Service Club students have taken on the mission to help a 10-year old boy in Indiana with cancer, reach his goal of getting as many Police Patches as he can throughout our country. His dream is to become a Police Officer someday.
Thank you to all the NJ Police Departments, friends and family who so generously supported this drive. Students are collecting patches through Monday, January 7, 2019.
