Newmark K-8 School is a highly-structured educational environment that motivates and allows students to take an active role in their own learning and where the student is at the center of the learning process.  The curriculum is designed to teach 21st century critical thinking skills through the use of small group instruction, technology and academic risk-taking that reflect high academic standards.

Our staff is highly trained and qualified to ensure academic success and social/emotional well-being.  Newmark is approved to administer all New Jersey mandated testing, including those created by the Partnership for the Assessment of Readiness for College and Careers (PARCC).

Newmark K-8 School provides each student with an appropriate education based upon his/her Individualized Education Program (IEP), developed by his/her school district in accordance with New Jersey Administrative Code 6A:14.  The integration of New Jersey Student Learning Standards is applied to individual students as is appropriate within his/her IEP.
