K-8 Holiday Show: Tuesday, December 17, 2024
You and your family are invited to the 2024 Newmark K-8 Holiday Show!
On Tuesday, December 17, 2024, your child’s homeroom will perform a holiday skit lasting about five minutes in length. The entire performance should last about one hour. Family members are welcome to attend the performance
2024 K-8 Holiday Show - Fee
We are thrilled to announce that our 2024 Newmark K-8 Holiday Show is just around the corner, scheduled for Tuesday, December 17, 2024. Rehearsals are already in full swing, and we can't wait to present an unforgettable celebration of the holiday season.
To ensure the success of this year's show all K-8 students will charged a $35 required Holiday Show fee. This fee will be used towards the purchase of costumes, props and scenery. Your support is instrumental in creating a wonderful experience for everyone involved. Your generosity and continued support of our school community are invaluable, and we are truly grateful for your participation.

K-8 Movie Night "Under The Stars" - THE GARFIELD MOVIE

We are excited to invite you and your family for a Family Movie Night under the stars on Friday, October 18, 2024 at 6:45 PM. The PG-rated movie, THE GARFIELD MOVIE will start at 7:00 PM.
This Family Fun event is free and will be held outdoors. Please bring your own beach chairs and blankets for fun family-friendly movie* night outdoors. Free popcorn! Please register in advance

K-8 Extended School Year (ESY) Field Trips - July 2024
The following school-wide field trips are scheduled for the Newmark K-8 ESY Program in July 2024. We request that you register for all trips prior to Friday, June 14, 2024 if your child is attending ESY. Transportation to activities provided by Newmark.
Thursday, July 11, 2024 - Cinemark XD Theater in Watchung, NJ
It’s movie time! There will be one feature for K-5 students and one for students in grades 6-8. (Movies will be announced closer to date). Students will have lunch at Newmark after the movies. Students can bring their own lunch or order lunch through the Newmark Food Program.
Field Trip Cost: $15
Thursday, July 18, 2024 – Majestic Lanes, Woodbridge, NJ
Get ready for a fun morning of bowling for the entire K-8! Students must wear sneakers (no Crocs or open toe shoes). Students will have lunch at Newmark after bowling. Students can bring their own lunch or order lunch through the Newmark Food Program.
Field Trip Cost: $22
Thursday, July 25, 2024 – Urban Air, Hazlet, NJ
Get ready to have fun at this large-scale indoor trampoline and adventure park … next level trampolines plus warrior course, dodgeball and more. Waiver required. Students will have lunch while at Urban Air. Students can bring their own lunch or pre-order bagged lunch through the Newmark Food Program. Parents must complete Waiver and submit prior to trip
Field Trip Cost: $30
No refunds. All credit card transaction will be charged a $3.00 Convenience Fee.

NEWMARK K-8 BIRTHDAY PARTIES SUPERVISED BY OUR NEWMARK STAFF
Invite up to 15 friends to your child's birthday party at Newmark. All activities, paper goods (table cloth, plates, napkins & silverware) and decorations are included. The party is held in the Newmark gym, game room & cafe, and may be tailored to your liking. Theme parties are welcome. Parents are responsible for sending out the invitations and monitoring the RSVP list, bringing the cake, drinks and snacks. Invitations may be given out in the classroom, if all the classmates are included, or you may mail/email the invitation on your own. Birthday Parties are held from 2:30 - 4:00 PM.
Party Cost: $300
