Newmark High School offers students a chance to participate in the Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA), the premier student business organization in the world. Through this program, eligible Newmark students can prepare for careers in business and business related fields through numerous contests, competitions and community service.

FBLA Interest Meeting: Open to all NHS Students - Monday, October 20, 2025
Ga-Ga Tournament - School Wide: Thursday, October 23, 2025 - Details coming soon
FBLA Dodgeball Tournament: Thursday, April 23, 2026 - Details coming soon
FBLA Regional Competitions ONLINE ONLY - TBD
The online competitions take place during the school day. Preparation for these online competitions is done by the students independently. Events vary from a broad range of business, technical and career related areas. Top scorers in each Regional Competition can advance to the State Competition in March.
FBLA State Conference & Competition IN PERSON - TBD
The annual FBLA State Conference will be held in-person at Harrah’s in Atlantic City. Students attending the State Conference must stay overnight at the hotel during the event. This major event on the FBLA calendar has over 4,000 students from the state of New Jersey competing. Students who advance from the Regional Competitions compete at this conference and have prepared presentations for the State Competition. (Information regarding booking a room and required attendance dates will be provided at a later date).

Newmark requires a signed Confirmation of Commitment for all interested students by TBD. Registration for the FBLA After School Club Session III begins Friday, January 16, 2026 (please check the Friday Backpack News for details). Please fill out and return the Confirmation of Commitment below:

Holiday Wreath Sale! Wednesday, October 15 - Wednesday, November 5, 2025 - Decorate your home with fresh, aromatic wreaths, centerpieces and festive winter decorations this holiday season starting at just $20. Details coming soon!
Newmark High School's Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA) are raising funds for competitions and the annual convention. Please support their efforts. Wreath Orders are due before Friday, November 5, 2025 and will be available the week after Thanksgiving.

FBLA GA-GA Tournament: Thursday, October 23, 2025
K-12 students can opt to play Ga-Ga to help raise money for the Newmark High School Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA) chapter - cost is $5 per student (cash or check payable to Newmark High School). Students must be dressed in athletic attire and sneakers. Register by Monday, October 20, 2025. Details coming soon.
