We look forward to another amazing year for Community Service at Newmark. We greatly appreciate the support of Newmark parents! We know you help encourage our students. To support the Drives, students can use their School Store points to "donate" items.

- Lemonade Sale: Thursday, June 12 & Friday, June 13, 2025 - A large cup is $1 (1 max per student) - to benefit Alex's Lemonade Stand to help find a cure for childhood cancers
Please consider donating snacks for these upcoming sales. Note: Due to health/safety requirements we are only accepting store bought items, with attached ingredient lists. Ideally, items should be individually sized, pre-packaged, however unopened multi packs from the store will also be accepted. A Parent Sign Up will be sent in October 2024.

Animal Shelter Drive: Friday, September 27 - Thursday, October 24, 2024
We are collecting food, toys and supplies for the Plainfield Area Humane Society and Cause 4 Paws. This is a great opportunity for our students to show their compassion by using their hard-earned school store points to donate to enrich the lives of rescued dogs and cats.

Toy Drive: Wednesday, November 6 - Friday, December 6, 2024
Help us brighten the lives of children in our community in time for the holidays. Due to safety protocols, we will not be accepting any donations directly from students or staff. Students may use their School Store points to purchase items at the School Store for donations. All donations will go to St. Joseph's Social Service Center in Elizabeth (Union County).

Students can use their School Store points to "purchase" diapers, wipes and other baby supplies to support local women and families at Mom's Helping Moms and Post Family Foster and Adoptive Farm in NJ.

Spring Food Drive: Monday, May 27 - Friday, June 13, 2025 Any non-perishable food item, canned fruit meat pasta veggies, cereal. To benefit Fanwood Presbyterian Church Food Pantry and Immaculate Heart of Mary Church in Scotch Plains.

Cards For Hospitalized Kids: Thursday, May 8, 2025 - Community Service project to support Cards Hospitalized Kids (CFHK), an internationally recognized charitable organization that spreads hope, joy & magic to hospitalized kids across America through uplifting, handmade cards.
