We look forward to another amazing year for Community Service at Newmark.  We greatly appreciate the support of Newmark parents!  We know you help encourage our students.  To support the Drives, students can use their School Store points to "donate" items.

Community SERVICE SNACK Sales

  • Donuts For Dogs:  Thursday, October 15 & Friday October 16, 2026 - to benefit the Hope4Paws Humane Society
  • Chips For Children: Thursday, December 10 & Friday, December 11, 2026 - to benefit Moms Helping Moms
  • Cookies For Cats: Thursday, February 25 & Friday February 26, 2027 - to benefit Cause 4 Paws
  • Candy For A Cause: Thursday, April 15 & Friday, April 16, 2027
  • Pastries For Pride: Thursday, June 10 & Friday, June 11, 2027 - to benefit Pride Center of New Jersey
Please consider donating snacks for these upcoming  sales.  Note: Due to health/safety requirements we are only accepting store bought items, with attached ingredient lists. Ideally, items should be individually sized, pre-packaged, however unopened multi packs from the store will also be accepted.   Parent Sign Up      
 
 

School Store Drive

Toy Drive: Wednesday, November 4 -December 4, 2026
Help us brighten the lives of children in our community in time for the holidays.  Students may use their School Store points to purchase items at the School Store for donations.  All donations will go to St. Joseph's Social Service Center in Elizabeth (Union County).  
 
Animal Shelter Drive: Friday, January 8-February 5, 2027
We are collecting food, toys and supplies for the Hope4Paws Humane Society and Cause4Paws Cat Rescue. This is a great opportunity for our students to show their compassion by using their hard-earned school store points to donate to enrich the lives of rescued dogs and cats. 
 
Military Drive: Friday, March 5-April 9, 2027
Students can use their School Store points to "purchase" Military Drive items from the School Store.  All donations will go to the N.J. Veteran’s Memorial Home at Menlo in Edison, NJ.    
 
Food Drive: Friday, May 7-June 4, 2027

Students can use their school store points to "purchase" the most requested food items for the local food pantry at Fanwood Presbyterian Church. Items are distributed monthly to individuals and families in our neighborhood.

 

School Drives - Donations welcome from Newmark families

 

Winter Drive: Monday, February 2 - Friday, February 19, 2027.
Any non-perishable food item, canned fruit meat pasta veggies, cereal.  To benefit Fanwood Presbyterian Church Food Pantry   

 

Community Service Events

Cards For Hospitalized Kids: Friday, February 18, 2027 - Community Service project to support Cards Hospitalized Kids (CFHK), an internationally recognized charitable organization that spreads hope, joy & magic to hospitalized kids across America through uplifting, handmade cards.
 

Pay To Play: Thursday, April 22, 2027 - Proceeds will benefit local organizations.

  • Pretzel Sale: Pending   - $2.00 for 1, $3.00 for two (max 2 per student)
