We will begin accepting applications and student records for the 2026-27 School Year on Monday, March 2, 2026.

All Newmark students are admitted and placed directly through their local school districts. Note: We only accept applications directly from School Districts.

Our PROCESS: for District Placement

Step 1:

Child Study Team Member to Check Deadline/Availability

2025-26 School Year

We are currently accepting applications and student records for the 2025-26 ESY/School Year

While we do not keep a waiting list, we do send email alerts to Child Study Team members about any openings that become available during the school year. Sign up to be added our our CST Notification List.

Step 2:

Child Study Team to Submit Online Application Form

Submit your prospective student's record using our online application, Newmark Admissions Portal .

Complete the online application form and attach your student's record documents including:

Current Child Study Team Evaluations
High School Transcript (if applicable)
Standardized Test Results
Current Individual Education Plan (IEP)
Current reports & records from applicable therapists and specialists

Upon receipt of records, the Admissions Office will email confirmation to the CST and mail a postcard to parents.

For Parents

Newmark K-8 and Newmark High School are state-approved, private schools located in Scotch Plains, NJ. Our schools serve students who are strong academically, but live with behavioral disorders and disabilities. All Newmark students are admitted and placed directly through their local school districts.

Enrolling at Newmark

If you wish to enroll your child at Newmark, please contact your School District directly. We require each student to be approved for admission by their local school district. Your Case Manager will be responsible for checking for availability and submitting paperwork for the admissions review process. If records are submitted by your district, parents will receive a confirmation postcard by mail.

Please Note: We do not admit private-pay students.
